1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PractIQ website at www.practiq.org.uk.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website.
These terms apply to use of the website. Additional terms will apply if you purchase a PractIQ service. Where there is any conflict between these website terms and the specific terms agreed for a paid service, the specific service terms will take priority in relation to that service.

3. Business users only
PractIQ provides services to businesses and professionals, primarily independent UK musculoskeletal clinics.
The website and PractIQ services are not intended for people purchasing wholly or mainly for personal purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
By requesting or purchasing a PractIQ service, you confirm that you are acting for business purposes and that you have authority to act for the clinic or organisation concerned.
4. Information on this website
The content on this website is provided for general business information only.
PractIQ takes reasonable care when preparing website content, but does not guarantee that all content will always be complete, accurate or up to date. Google Business Profile features, Google policies, search results and third-party platforms can change without notice.
Website content does not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, clinical or professional healthcare advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
PractIQ may amend, remove or update website content at any time.
5. PractIQ services
Information about the Free Visibility Check, GBP Visibility Review, GBP Fix Pack and GBP Care is provided to explain the general purpose and likely scope of each service.
Descriptions on the website do not constitute a binding offer to provide services. PractIQ may accept or decline an enquiry at its discretion.
A contract for paid services is formed only when:

• the scope and price have been confirmed;

• any applicable service terms have been accepted;

• and any required payment has been received.

The exact scope of a GBP Fix Pack depends on the findings of the clinic’s GBP Visibility Review. Fix Packs are individually quoted and the agreed scope will be confirmed before work begins.
PractIQ may change, replace or withdraw its services and may amend its prices. Changes will not affect paid work that has already been agreed, except where both parties agree otherwise.
6. Free Visibility Check
The Free Visibility Check is a limited initial assessment intended to help a clinic decide whether a full GBP Visibility Review may be worthwhile.
It may include:

• two or three relevant local searches;

• a brief review of the clinic’s Google Business Profile;

• and a basic check of the route from the profile to the clinic’s contact or booking page.

It does not include:

• a formal score;

• a full competitor assessment;

• a complete audit;

• detailed implementation instructions;

• or a guarantee that every issue will be identified.

Submitting a Free Visibility Check request does not create a client relationship or oblige PractIQ to undertake further work.
PractIQ may decline or limit requests where insufficient information has been supplied, the clinic falls outside the intended service market, or completing the check would be impractical.
7. Google and third-party platforms
PractIQ is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Google.
Google controls its own products, policies, search results, verification processes and approval of Google Business Profile changes.
PractIQ cannot guarantee:

• a particular position in Google Search or Google Maps;

• inclusion in the Local Pack;

• an increase in enquiries, bookings, reviews or revenue;

• that Google will accept, publish or retain a submitted change;

• that Google will remove a review;

• or uninterrupted access to Google or any other third-party platform.

Search results can vary according to location, device, search history, personalisation, timing and changes made by Google.
Any timescales given for third-party approval or publication are estimates only and are outside PractIQ’s direct control.
8. Information you provide
You must ensure that information supplied to PractIQ is accurate, lawful and not misleading.
You must have the necessary authority and permissions to provide information relating to your clinic, its practitioners, services, website and Google Business Profile.
You must not send PractIQ:

• patient records;

• appointment records;

• confidential clinical information;

• special-category personal information that is not necessary for the requested service;

• account passwords;

• unlawful, defamatory or infringing material;

• or information you are not authorised to disclose.

Google Business Profile access should be provided through Google’s authorised manager-access process. PractIQ will not ask you to disclose your Google password.
You remain responsible for checking and approving clinic information, service descriptions, post content and other materials before publication where approval is required.
9. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or connected systems;

• introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;

• interfere with the operation or security of the website;

• use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of website content;

• impersonate another person or organisation;

• submit false or misleading enquiries;

• use the website to infringe another person’s rights;

• or use PractIQ content or methodology to create or promote a competing audit product without written permission.

PractIQ may block access, disregard submissions or take other reasonable action where these terms are breached.
10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website and its content are owned by or licensed to Wendy Cook trading as PractIQ.
This includes:

• the PractIQ name and branding;

• website text and graphics;

• audit structures and methodology;

• scoring frameworks;

• report formats;

• templates;

• checklists;

• written service descriptions;

• and original documents supplied by PractIQ.

You may view and print website pages for your own legitimate business use.
You must not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, adapt or commercially exploit PractIQ content without prior written permission.
A client may use a report supplied for the internal business purposes of the clinic for which it was prepared. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the report may not be resold, republished, used to provide services to another organisation or represented as the work of another provider.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Links to other websites
The website may include links to Google, clinic websites or other third-party resources.
These links are provided for information or convenience only. PractIQ does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices or services.
A link does not mean that PractIQ endorses the third party or accepts responsibility for it.
You should review the terms and privacy information of any third-party website you use.
12. Website availability and security
PractIQ aims to keep the website available and secure but cannot guarantee that it will always operate without interruption, delay, error or harmful components.
Access may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, security, technical work or circumstances outside PractIQ’s control.
You are responsible for using appropriate security software, keeping your devices secure and maintaining your own backups.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above, PractIQ will not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential loss;

• loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings or business opportunity;

• decisions made solely in reliance on general website content;

• changes made by Google or another third party;

• variations in search results;

• failure by Google to approve or retain profile changes;

• third-party websites, software or platforms;

• loss caused by inaccurate, incomplete or unauthorised information supplied by you;

• or events outside PractIQ’s reasonable control.

Nothing on the website guarantees a particular commercial, search or marketing outcome.
Liability arising from a paid service will also be governed by the terms agreed for that service.
14. Privacy and cookies
PractIQ processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The website may use cookies and similar technologies. Further information about the cookies used and the choices available to visitors is provided in the Cookie Policy and through the website’s cookie settings.
15. Changes to these terms
PractIQ may update these terms to reflect changes to:

• the website;

• its services;

• its business practices;

• third-party platforms;

• or legal and regulatory requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Changes will apply from the date they are published and will not retrospectively change an existing paid-service agreement unless agreed with the client or required by law.
16. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
17. No waiver
If PractIQ does not immediately enforce a right under these terms, this does not mean that the right has been waived.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any non-contractual dispute connected with the use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
